Making Sense Out of Sensing Hypoxia:
New Directions and Translational Perspectives Throughout the Lifespan
ISAC 2017 at Johns Hopkins brought together researchers with a common interest in chemoreceptors and O2 sensing, embracing a variety of clinical-related issues including hypertension, OSA and heart failure and the translational connection between laboratory science and clinical application.
The meeting in Baltimore MD, USA connected old acquaintances and new colleagues for communication of research in the field.
The 2017 Conference proceedings (Baltimore) will be published in 2018. Details to follow.
Information about ISAC XXI 2020 will be available as it becomes available.
The 2014 Conference proceedings (Leeds) have been published: Arterial Chemoreceptors in Physiology and Pathophysiology in Advances in Experimental Medicine and Biology, Volume 860, Springer 2015.
